Quel temps fait il?

Back when i was at school, one of our french teachers used to look at his watch and ask us "Quel temps fait il?". Just to wind him up, repeatedly day in day out, we would say "il est x heures", to which he would reply "no, no, no, no, no. il fait beau/mauvais/etc".

Anyway, this weekend you'd be hard pushed to answer "quel temps fait il?". Samedi, il faisait beau and we built a sandpit in the garden for the kids ready for summer. Ahem. Then this morning we woke up and it was snowing - proper thick snow.

Needless to say we could hardly get out the door fast enough and a beautiful walk up Swain's Lane past the cemetary to Waterlow Park where we built a snowman.

Later, on the way through Highgate village we saw a full size medical skeleton in the window of a house looking out. Eli was delighted, scared and obsessed that it was folowing us :)
