Men's pond

After fencing we had a not so successful first foray into the Men's pond on Hampstead Heath :)

First fencing competition

Eli's coach briefed him along these lines "it's your first competition. you cannot expect to win, but I am going to set you an objective. to get one point in each match. if you get one point, the objective changes. you aim to get a second point" In the end Eli won 5 of 9 matches. A result to be proud of.
