Yesterday we went Christmas shopping, taking in a trip to Cyberdog in Camden. Elias and I almost got stranded when the snow came down, but managed to (just) get the car up Swain's Lane.

Elias found the beads I bought in India 15 or so years ago. Made a necklace.

Fleur left Eli a new driver for his crane. Only it was a mouse, and it was dead.

Falling Leaves

We went down to the New Forest for a cycling sportive. Stefanie took Toby, Elias and Jude on the 7 mile sportive which they completed and deservedly got medals for. Whilst Ben, David, my Dad and I did the 25 miler.
Elias then went a bit pagan and later on Eli and Jude dug the Hudson River in Grandpa's vegetable patch.

Today we just went swimming, put a new tyre on Eli's bike, and went for a spin on the Heath.

Allez les Suisses

Unfortunately Mama Zulu went back to Switzerland a day before we went to glamorous and politically correct East London hole Newham to see the final stage of the Tour of Britain. The stage went to HTC Columbia's Andre Greipel but the winner of the Tour overall was Swiss Albasini. A little bonus was that Eli got to meet Olympic cycle track champion Ed Clancy.

Monsoon Wedding

At the end of the greyest and wettest August I can recall was Josephine & Robert's wedding. Blessed by the sun for most of the day it was like Monsoon Wedding when the 5 O'clock rain came. Fantastic wedding cake made by Robert in the shape of a Buddhist stupa.

Limousin

We went to visit Georgia, John and India-Jane in the Limousin.
